Welcome Marco Reyes

Andersen Tax & Legal Mexico announces the addition of Marco Antonio Reyes Gladin as CUSTOMS, INTERNATIONAL TRADE & VAT Leader Partner, located in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Before joining Andersen Tax & Legal, Marco spent 19 years with PWC, where he was Partner in Mexico for Customs, International Trade and Vat practice.

Marco´s experience is based on technical and operational activities. He has been focused on the preparation of several projects related to world trade management, strategic import and export tax planning, as well as formalities for the import of goods into Mexico, mainly for Maquiladora (inbound-outbound processing) and Automotive Industry.

In addition, Marco Reyes has excelled in several areas of foreign trade such as strategic import and export operations under the North American and European Union Free Trade Agreements.

As part of his professional experience, Marco Reyes has been deeply involved in the evaluation and review of foreign trade operations, detecting, analyzing and evaluating tax related and customs risks affecting them, as well as the studying and interpreting legal aspects foreseen in the Mexican Foreign Trade Law and Free Trade Agreements. Marco received a business degree in Law and an Economy degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He also received a Diploma on Foreign Trade Legal analysis from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

He is currently a Professor at Universidad Panamericana (Campus Guadalajara), teaching about taxation on foreign commerce.
